High-quality, downloadable images can only be accessed through the Download Center with use of a code provided by a Knott’s Berry Farm representative. Live Remotes

Knott’s Berry Farm’s Public Relations Department is able to provide assistance with both radio and television live remotes. All remotes must be arranged no less than one week prior to the remote (except for breaking news).

The media admissions policy for Knott’s Berry Farm enables working media to become familiar with the parks’ many story opportunities and, at the same time, enjoy a day with family or friends.

We are pleased to extend the following courtesies to working news media representatives:

  • Working media on assignments are provide complimentary admission to the park and will be accompanied by a public relations media escort.
  • Maximum of four (4) complimentary tickets per one-time visit to Knott’s Berry Farm to qualifying personnel during our calendar year are provided for enjoyment (non-working) purposes, Sunday through Friday only. Since Saturdays are typically the busiest day of the week, we are unable to provide complimentary tickets for leisure visits on Saturdays.
  • This courtesy is extended to active members of the news media only and does not include office, sales or retired personnel. Identification in the form of both a photo ID and a news media ID (press card or business card) is required.
  • Freelance writers must provide written confirmation of assignment.
  • A written request for complimentary tickets are accepted by email (must originate from a qualified media domain) or fax no later than two (2) business days prior to your visit. The request must include the following:
    • Name and position
    • Affiliation
    • Number of tickets requested (max. 4)
    • Date of visit
    • Phone number to confirm approval.

The media person must be present with his or her photo ID and press ID.

  • Upon arrival at the park, news media should visit the “Guest Relations” window.
  • Complimentary media admission does not include special events at the park.

The following guidelines are to be observed at all times. These guidelines have been established for the safety and comfort of our guests and employees. Thank you for your cooperation!

  • All media representatives with photo, radio, video and/or TV equipment MUST be accompanied by an assigned Public Relations and/or Knott’s Berry Farm escort at ALL TIMES while on Knott’s Berry Farm Property.
  • All photo/radio/video/TV media representatives are to remain on midway areas only, and are never allowed in any restricted areas except by special permission from Public Relations.
  • Taping, filming and photographing inside shows is not allowed, except by special permission from Public Relations and the performers involved. Even with this permission, no show can ever be recorded in its entirety.
  • Media representatives and all associated production activities are not allowed to inconvenience park guests in any way.
  • Photo/Video/TV cameras, tape recorders and cellular phones are not allowed on any ride or attraction except by special permission from Public Relations. Media services maintains a complete library of B-roll footage and still photos of all major rides, shows and attractions.
  • Media representatives may interview guests with only the explicit consent of the guest and Public Relations.
